Week 3

Well it finally caught up with him. He felt great on Christmas and we had a really nice day. Then it was as if a switch was flipped on monday. He is now very lethargic and has the pale drawn look of a kid with cancer. His appointment was yesterday and his cell counts have changed dramatically. Last week his neutrophil (the while cells that fight infection) count was 3,600. Yesterday it was 78! So we are back to keeping him at home and trying to prevent him from catching anything. If he gets a fever when his counts are this low we are immediately hospitalized for a few days. At least we have some great new toys and games for the kids. Noah has been great with Jordan and it has been really nice to have him home on Christmas break. We'll keep you posted. Love, Lara and Jim

Oh that sweet little guy. Please please give him an extra big hug from all of us. Take care of yourselves and know we are all thinking of you.

My heart goes out to Jordan and the rest of you. I update our prayer wheel today so there are lots of prayers continuing to support you and especially praying for his protection from any infection. I love you all and think about you and pray for you constantly!

Love always,

Christy

Just returned from Washington, D.C. It was great to read that Jordan enjoyed a wonderful Chistmas with his family. Our prayers for him and for you continue as Jordan receives essential medical care. Gordon S.
