End of Summer Vacation

We took an end-of-summer vacation in Tofino again this year. It brought back memories of last year when Jordan was feeling sick, but he hadn't been diagnosed yet. We had a very different, and much happier boy with us this year.

Anniversary

Yesterday was the one year mark from Jordan's diagnosis. In some ways it has been the longest year of our lives but at the same time we can't believe that it's been a year already. The summer has flown by and we have had a great time. We just returned from 2 weeks at Tofino. Last year Jordan was sick but undiagnosed while we were there and he just had a miserable time with no energy to play on the beach or climb the rocks. This year we had a very different child. He took the beach by storm and played non-stop! We'll get some pictures on soon. He has a luxurious head of wavy blond hair! Other good news from our home is that we are adopting a baby girl from China. We submitted our dossier (the official compilation of documents) to China in July and we expect another 6 month wait before we are matched with a child at which time we will travel to China for 2 weeks to get her.
