Happy Thanksgiving

I can't believe thanksgiving is here already. Time moved so slowly for us when this all started and now we are back to warp speed which is a good sign I guess. Jordan had his week 4 hospital day on the interim maintenance last wednesday. His cell counts continue to look good and he handled the sedation and spinal like a pro. We kept Noah out of school and took him with us this time. He is very curious about what happens to Jordan and is feeling a bit jealous of Jordan's hospital days. Noah did great and wasn't at all bothered by the needles or seeing Jordan go under anesthesia. In fact, he thought it was a pretty great place. You can watch cartoons on cable whenever you want and you get to go to McDonald's afterwards. It has been so nice to have Jordan back to his normal energy level. Now we are bracing for the next phase. We begin the delayed intensification on December 14th and it will last for 8-10 weeks. He will be very lethargic and possibly nauseous. His cell counts will also get very low again. Needless to say, Christmas will be very quiet at our house but we are so thankful that we will all be together. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving, I know that we will! Love, Lara and Jim

Happy Halloween

I'm sorry that I haven't written in so long. I know there are a lot of you out there who check the site regularly for new information. Thankfully, there is no new information. The last two weeks have been pleasantly mundane. We had a great halloween with batman Jordan and astronaut Noah. We were able to continue our tradition of having neighbors over for a pizza dinner and then we hit the street for a great evening of trick-or-treating. We'll put some pictures up soon. Lots of love to everyone! Lara and Jim
