A Big Month
This past month has flown by. Jordan did great on his first month of maintenance therapy. The first five days when he is on the steroids are the biggest challenge but he recovers quickly and seems like his normal self for the rest of the month. His hair is growing and is so soft that we can't help but stroke it constantly. I hope we don't rub it out! He is back at preschool and announced to his teacher on the first day back that "preschool is the hottest!" He had his 4th birthday on March 4th which was a ton of fun. It was a rocket party complete with a rocket cake and a huge NASA space station bounce house in our back yard. I will post pictures soon. Yesterday was the Big Climb for Leukemia. It was a great event and we are so appreciative to everyone who participated and donated. We had about 25 people on Team Jordan climbing up the stairs of the tallest building in Seattle. It was a great workout and a great view from the top. Afterwards we all celebrated at our house where my mom had prepared a gourmet brunch. So far we have raised $3,500 for the leukemia society! Love and thanks to you all, Lara
