A bald boy
We had a great weekend at home. Jordan's blood counts looked really good on saturday and he was a champ about having "a pokie in his port". After it was over he told me that it doesn't hurt to have pokies in the chest. The good counts mean no transfusion for at least a week. It was a little bit disappointing to discover Jordans hair falling out in clumps this afternoon. We knew that it was going to happen but it is constant visual reality of what he is going through. We decided to give him a really close buzz cut and he looks quite cute. The big brown eyes and long eyelashes really stand out now. We'll get pictures soon. Love, Lara and Jim

Just remember, Jordan - great eyes and a great smile are the features that really count. No girl will ever fall for you over hair (besides your mom, that is.) Stay strong and spirited. I love you lots.

I dont know why I remember this, but I seem to recall that you are attracted to bald guys, right Lara??
Just thought I'd share that with the world..
love, lianne :)
Hello Lara and Family,
I just wanted to send my best wishes to you and your family, especially during this time. I know what I went through with chemotx and a BMT, when I had Hodgkin's Disease, but I was 28, not a youngster like Jordan.
I've added Jordan to the list of people with leukemia or lymphoma I know, who are being honored as I run a marathon in October to raise money and awareness for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. He is in very good company!!
'Take care, and again, my best wishes and strength go out to your whole family,

Hi Lara and Jim, It's Keith and Sue too, on board in your camp. We have been praying for you all since we first received word about Jordan at Big Bay, Stuart Island where we have been nearly all summer. We love you all so much. We are continuing to believe with you and for you.
good luck jordan.
